Wicked – The Musical opened on Broadway at the Gershwin Theater on Oct 30, 2003, and is completing three years of continuous run shortly. It is an open-ended run, with tickets presently available until Oct 30, 2007. If you have not seen this musical, now is the time to indulge yourself. Broadway tickets for this very popular show are always sold out, and you need to book months in advance at the Box Office for your tickets. Broadway tickets for Wicked – the Musical are never discounted at the theater, unless they are group sales, lottery, and obscured view tickets. There are some obscured view orchestra seats available at substantially discounted price, if it interests you.
Gershwin Theater Tickets
For the musical Wicked, Broadway tickets are available from the Box Office at Gershwin Theater, if booked well in advance. The show is so popular that discounted tickets are not available, unless they are tickets for partial view or obstructed view. You would, of course, not be able to see portion of the stage, and such tickets would be available at heavily discounted prices.
If you are lucky, you may be able to obtain tickets, which are sold through a lottery process. These are all iffy. Gershwin Theater has a line for cancellation of tickets and if you are patient enough, you may be able to lay your hands, at the last moment, on premium tickets that have come in for cancellation. There are certain seats that Gershwin Theater holds for certain VIPs, and these are released about three days before the show. If you are at the right time at the right place, you may get lucky!
Seating And Price
Gershwin Theater tickets for the show Wicked can easily be purchased from a number of Broadway ticket brokers, who can make tickets for Wicked available, though at a price higher than the face value of the ticket. This is to cover the cost of arranging the tickets to make it possible for you to see your favorite show without having booked the tickets in advance.
You can arrange for Broadway tickets for all shows and plays, including Wicked through online sources of the brokers, as well as over telephone. The Gershwin Theater seats 1933. For Wicked, Broadway tickets would be ideal for orchestra seats in rows B – M. Mezzanine seating starts above the Row N of the orchestra section, and the first few rows of mezzanine would be good seats.
You may need to check out a number of Broadway ticket brokers for tickets for Wicked, as the prices of different brokers vary. Prices vary from day to day, and from broker to broker. For example, on one particular day and for the same show, one broker quoted $130 to $205 each for various seats in the orchestra section. The second one quoted $145 to $232 each for the same section, and another $125 to $205.
Ensure that you buy your Wicked Broadway tickets from reliable brokers, who are licensed and are members of the National Association of Ticket Brokers.
