Are you one of these golfers who are so distracted by noise that your game goes totally to pot? Then if you are, I am very sorry, but a Canada Golf Vacation in Niagara is not for you.

To combine a visit to the seventh wonder in the world, with a very enjoyable golf vacation included, is an opportunity far too good to be missed. When I lived briefly in Michigan in the early 80’s, just outside Flint, I was amazed by the people that lived in and around Flint, but had never been to the Niagara Falls area. To me, standing on the Canadian side of the falls, almost an arms stretch away from the top of the Horseshoe Falls is such an awe-inspiring thing to do, that even as an avid golfer, all such thoughts of golf are banished from your mind, and, as you try and comprehend the massiveness of nature just a stones throw from your side, a mixture of fear and excitement runs through you.

If you are married, or with a partner, even if they hate golf, they will be so grateful for you bringing them on this Canada Golf Vacation, that each time you spend 4 or 5 hours on the course, they will be quite content to sample the masses of sightseeing opportunities to be done here. And as an added bonus, it is said that the reason so many hundreds of thousands of honeymooners head for this area, is that the negative ions that are released from all this tumbling water, acts as an aphrodisiac – so watch out – you may be in for a better time than you thought.

The whole area caters for between 14 and 18 million people every year, on both the American and Canadian side, so you can see that as a golf vacation area; this is a superb location to head for. Thanks to the actions of Frederick Law Olmstead, a famous landscape artist way back in the 1800’s, he was instrumental in stopping massive industrial development, was instrumental in the setting up of a 200 acre Niagara Reservation State Park, so you can see all of this natural beauty, without having to peer round ugly industrial complexes.

Because of this, to cater for so many tourists and golfer alike, there is an amazing range of hotels, both high rise and low slung, to cater for every taste and budget.

So, if you are looking for a really great weekend break, or even longer, Niagara Falls is definitely somewhere you should seriously consider for your next Canada Golf Vacation
